About Us

We believe that sports and particularly Rugby and Rugby clubs should be open to everyone and as such this site has been created to promote the game of both Rugby League and Rugby Union to a wider audience. The main aim is to get more people playing and getting involved with their local rugby club.

You are never too old to start a new sport and most clubs will have a team for you at whatever age from 7 to 60. I myself played my first game of rugby since leaving school at the age of 36, now 4 years on I am totally addicted. Even if I don’t play I try and go and support my local club at every opportunity. If you don’t have the urge to play but want a fantastic social scene and an instant family, you will find this at your local rugby club, I have found rugby clubs to be the friendliest places I have ever experienced and I have visited rugby clubs in the United Kingdom and Europe and have trained with clubs in Germany and Switzerland.

There are lots of rugby related blogs around that cater for international and Premiership rugby but almost no coverage for clubs in the leagues below. Often the issues that face clubs in these leagues are very different to the clubs and players in the top flight. This site is going to have a strong emphasis on rugby clubs that plays at Level 2 all the way down to level 10 including including Mens rugby, womans rugby, junior rugby, mini rugby and even rugby for pre-schoolers.

I would like to create discussion that will be of relevance not simply for all rugby clubs and rugby players at all levels and in both northern and southern hemispheres but also for any sports clubs that play any sports at junior and senior level whether they are playing in the vets or have children in toddler rugby classes.

I will be tackling issues that matter to all sports clubs be it football, hockey or cricket from adults to children, as we all have similar issues.

Having trained as a Psychologist and with a particular interest in self improvement I will be giving you some useful information that will help you as a player, coach and in your personal and professional life.
In addition we will have specialists in various fields associated to sports clubs with a emphasis on rugby that will be contributing on a regular basis.

Articles will be posted twice times a week. You will find the posts interesting and informative and also very funny of this I am certain.
